What each stage means

1 · Received
Your file is open with the bureau and waiting for its review.
2 · Verified
The bureau has read the documents you supplied and checked them against one another and against your application.
3 · Presented
Your file has been presented to the destination authority. The decision rests with that authority alone.
4 · Returned
Your return from the trip has been recorded on your file.
